You can do kayaking on the bay all year around but great time is between October and June. That is an excellent way to explore the tranquil waters of Ha Long Bay, giving access to the thousands of islands and outcroppings that make up Ha Long’s unique limestone karts geology.

Cave visit

We will embark on the boat for a cruise amongst the islands and islets of this stunning Halong bay. We will visit one cave on our 1 or 2 day trip, however, if you wish to visit more than one cave, we have to plan this well prior to departure so that our captain know where to go and please be informed an extra fee for each additional cave you plan to see.

Note: If the weather turns bad, we all have to follow the captain’s instruction, cave visit or extra cruise can be canceled without prior notice.

Bamboo rowing boats

The baskets in the far north in Halong Bay, graceful oval baskets before they’re outfitted for work, carry a heavy rectangular wooden deck and quite a bit of wooden framing to support their engines and provide a little covered stowage. Even the smaller Halong Bay baskets have at least a pair of wood or bamboo gunnels added and stanchions to carry the oars.

Cruising on Halong Bay, you can join our cooking demonstration. The chef shows you how to prepare some traditional Vietnamese dishes.

Vietnam is very proud to get more of the recognition it deserves in the world for its cuisine, with fresh ingredients and imaginative flavors, and one of the best experience of any trip toVietnam is the food. Even if you do not expect to do much Vietnamese cooking, a cooking class is a fun and interesting way to learn and understand the local Vietnamese ingredients and how to make some of the popular dishes.

Generally, most cooking classes are half-day classes starting in the morning with a trip to the local market followed by a cooking demonstration and lunch where you can eat the dishes that were prepared.

It is place where cuttle-fish often pass by to seek bait. • 08:00 You will be picked up at your hotel and have 3,5 hours drive. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta. On the way, you will have a short break  to relax and unwind
• 12:00 Get on Tuan Chau Island (one of biggest islands and most beautiful island in Halong bay). The bus will take you around the wonderful island before you get on our Aquarena Cruise.

Aphrodite Supreme is the first vessel of Aphrodite Cruises – junk Cruises (VIT Ha Long Company Limited), which began operations in 2011 to cater for visitors sightseeing the Ha Long Bay area. This vessel is the result of the combination of traditional ship building and modern techniques and facilities. Day 3 : Aphrodite Cruise - Hanoi  (B,L)

06.30 : For the early risers join us for a Tai Chi session on the sun deck. Tai chi helps focus the mind and condition the body and there is no better environment to practice this than amongst the limestone peaks and islands.

07.00 :  You will have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay  if the weather is nice while tea, coffee as well as international breakfast buffet will be served.

08.30 : After breakfast, you will be transferred by a tender to visit one of the most  beautiful and the largest limestone cave in Halong bay call Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave). You will be very amazed according to its name.  Then we walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay.

10.00 : We get back to Aphrodite Cruiser, Check out cabins and settle bills – Luggage collection.

11.00 : It’s time for us to say goodbye to Halong bay as well as Aphrodite Cruise.

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong(L,D)

• 08:00 You will be picked up at your hotel and have 3,5 hours drive. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta. On the way, you will have a short break  to relax and unwind
• 12:00 Get on Tuan Chau Island (one of biggest islands and most beautiful island in Halong bay). The bus will take you around the wonderful island before you get on our Aquarena Cruise.
• 12:30 Enjoy a welcome drink on the boat and check into your luxury cabin.
• 13:00 Lunch is served while cruising through the bay
• 14:30 Visit the spectacular Thien Cung Cave with an expert guide
• 15.00 Visit peaceful Ba Hang fishing village where you will have the chance to discover the traditional culture of the local fishermen. Kayak or take a local bamboo boat around the majestic limestone columns, or just go for a dip.
• 16:30 Transfer to Gia Luan – very peaceful and quiet place for sleeping. It’s relaxing time on the sundeck, enjoy the view coming to sunset and wonderful cocktails from the bar.

• 09:30 There’s special cooking class with some traditional dishes presented by our excellent Chef. Cruising through the bay, admiring the spectacular islands, islets.
